Armed attack on Afghan national television

Armed attackers raided the headquarters of National Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA)
yesterday in Jalalabad, the capital city of the Nangarhar province in the east of Afghanistan, the media reported.
During the attack a security guard was killed, as were all three attackers; at least 17 people were wounded, Reuters reported. On the other hand, CNN reported that 2 people were killed – one employee of the television, while the other person killed was also a civilian.
Located in Nangarhar, bordering with Pakistan, are Taliban rebels and Islamic State militants.
