The Central Election Commission in Kosovo has started counting the votes of those registered who voted physically on June 6 in the 30 diplomatic missions of Kosovo abroad, while the vote of the diaspora is expected to influence the final result.
Meanwhile, the Counting Centers continue the process where more than 90% of the votes of the MP candidates have been processed so far. The Vetëvendosje movement ranks first with 43% of the votes. Its candidate for prime minister Albin Kurti is the most voted with about 215 thousand votes. Glauk Konjufca has over 168 thousand votes and Albulena Haxhiu about 98 thousand votes.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo ranks second with 21 percent of the vote. The candidate for Prime Minister Bedri Hamza received the greatest support, who leads with about 106 thousand votes. He is followed by Përparim Gruda with about 65 thousand votes and Arian Tahiri with over 56 thousand votes.
The Vetëvendosje movement ranks third with 18% of the votes. The presidential candidate Vjosa Osmani counts about 71 thousand votes. The candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku, received over 64,000 votes and Doarsa Kica Xhelili, over 51,000 votes.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo received 7 percent of the votes. Mayor Ardian Gjini has so far received the support of over 37,000 voters. Ramush Haradinaj over 33 thousand votes and Daut Haradinaj over 25 thousand votes.
Based on the preliminary results, the Vetëvendosje Movement is expected to have 48 deputies, the PDK 24, the LDK 20 and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo 8 deputies in the new Assembly.
