The number of victims of the attack on Kyiv has increased to 24, including three children

Rescue work is still ongoing in Kyiv, according to Zelensky, drones and missiles hit 20 different places. “These are ordinary residential buildings, a school, a veterinary clinic, other purely civil infrastructure,” said the politician on the X network.

In several neighborhoods, drone debris started fires in houses. Rescuers had to take up to 20 people to hospitals. “Among the seriously injured is a newborn who is only a month old,” Kyiv Mayor Vitalij Kličko pointed out on Telegram, saying that part of the city is without water.

During Thursday, according to Kliček, the number of victims of the attacks also increased, as rescuers clear away the debris: “We now have five dead in Kyiv, among them a 12-year-old girl.” On Thursday evening, news came that the number of victims had increased to 24, including three children among the dead. The search for the missing continues.

Other Ukrainian cities also faced drone, missile and ballistic missile attacks. Damage is reported from the Odesa region, where the Russians targeted ports and railways, and where two people were injured. Kharkov also reports 28 wounded after the raids.

The Ukrainian army announced on Telegram that during the night air defense shot down 12 of 18 Iskander ballistic missiles, 29 of 35 cruise missiles and 652 suicide drones of various types.

However, the Russian attack is still continuing, other groups of drones have entered Ukrainian airspace, the RBC portal pointed out.

“Since the beginning of yesterday, the Russians have used more than 1,560 drones against our cities and towns. These are definitely not the steps of those who think that the war is coming to an end,” Zelensky recalled Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement on Saturday.

The Ukrainian president called on partners and allies not to keep silent about the attack. It is equally important to continue supporting the protection of our sky,” concluded Zelenskyj.
