According to a survey by the SANEP agency for TV TA3, Smér would get 20.5 percent of the votes and PS 19.7 percent of the votes. The last time Smér was at the head of a survey by the same agency was in March 2024, when it had the support of 22.8 percent of the votes and PS 20.9 percent.
In April of this year, the non-parliamentary movement Republika led by Milan Uhrík would have finished in third place with a gain of 12.1 percent of the vote.
The government party Hlas of the Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok (8.2%), the Slovak movement of former Prime Minister Igor Matovič (7.4%), the Freedom and Solidarity party led by Branislav Gröhling (SaS 6.9%), the Christian Democratic Movement of Milan Majerský (KDH 6.3%) and the Democratic Party of ex-Minister of Defense Jaroslav Nadě (5.5%) would also enter the parliament.
The ruling Slovak National Party, led by Deputy Speaker of the Slovak Parliament Andrej Danek, would not make it to parliament (4.1%).
The current government parties Smér and Hlas would have only 50 seats in the 150-member parliament, and 71 mandates with the Republic movement. On the other hand, the current opposition parties would have a majority of 79 seats in the parliament. Most of the opposition parties, however, refuse to cooperate with former Prime Minister Matovič.
