The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, reacted after the announcement of the results of the parliamentary elections in Kosovo, congratulating the head of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, for the success achieved.
In his message, Begaj congratulated the citizens of Kosovo for the maturity shown during the election process, which he described as orderly, calm and democratic.
He emphasized that this result proves the strength of the institutions and democratic culture of the state of Kosovo.
President Begaj underlined the importance of engaging all political forces with responsibility and a constructive spirit, to guarantee dialogue and institutional compromise.
According to him, this is necessary for the stability, further development of the country and the fulfillment of the aspirations of the citizens of Kosovo.
At the end of the reaction, the Albanian Head of State assured that Albania will continue to support Kosovo in every step of its Euro-Atlantic and European journey, considering this as a common national and regional priority.

I congratulate the citizens of Kosovo for the maturity shown in a regular, peaceful and democratic election process, which proved once again the strength of the institutions and the democratic culture of the state of Kosovo. At this stage, it is important that all political forces engage with responsibility and a constructive spirit to guarantee dialogue and institutional compromise, in function of stability, further development of the country and fulfillment of the aspirations of the citizens of Kosovo. Albania will continue to support Kosovo at every step of its Euro-Atlantic and European journey.“- says President Bajram Begaj.
