Developed motor skills are needed for skiing – not only in children. Dexterity and balance take different time to develop, so it is possible to rush the first rides. However, as a rule, at the age of 3 to 5 years, it is already possible to start basic training.
In Europe, the difficulty of tracks is usually displayed using colors. The system used in the Czech Republic can also be found in a number of other countries. Green slopes or children’s blue slopes are intended for complete beginners. They are wide, usually have a low slope and slow lifts. With a little practice, you can move on to longer and slightly more difficult blue tracks. Here we focus on the places where you gain experience and basic skiing skills.
Practically every area offers at least a little space for the little ones and beginners. Even in the more demanding ones you will find slow lifts, belts and plenty of space. Great for families in which members differ in their previous skiing skills.
