The incident occurred shortly before the end of the setup, when the home fans of Slavia, who were leading 3:2, ran onto the lawn. The match had to be interrupted subsequently and the visiting Sparta refused to continue. The end of the match was also confirmed by Slavia boss Jaroslav Tvrdík.
“Due to the fact that you ran onto the pitch prematurely and that two Sparta players were physically attacked, the opponent had already left the stadium and the authorities of the match, the organizing service and the police decided to end the match,” said Tvrdík into the microphone.
Several Slavist fans who invaded the lawn also set off pyrotechnics on the tribune, where Sparta supporters were. They, in turn, demolished two toilets in their sector.
“Before the end of the Prague S match, there was a significant disturbance of public order, when several hundred fans ran onto the pitch, so the police officers intervened. The goalkeeper of the guests was physically attacked and the criminal investigators initiated criminal proceedings, due to suspicion of disorderly conduct, the police wrote on the X network.

Both fan groups did not come into direct contact at the stadium or in its immediate surroundings. After the match, the Spartans had to stay in their sector for about a quarter of an hour before the police let them out. The afternoon march of Spartan supporters to the stadium in Eden went without any major problems.
At the post-match press conference, Tvrdík apologized for the incident and admitted that the match could be postponed. In addition, Slavia is also threatened with a fine in the order of millions of crowns and the closing of the stadium. At the same time, the Red and Whites are scheduled to welcome Jablonec to Eden in the inserted round on Wednesday.
