Political Crisis in Kosovo, PDK: Inevitable Keeping Premature Elections

Inevitable, called the Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Citaku, holding early parliamentary elections.

In an interview with KosovaPress, Citaku blamed the prime minister in office and the head of LVV Albin Kurti for the situation where the country is located, where new institutions have not yet been established, eight months after the general election,

“At the moment we are, I consider that the new parliamentary elections have become inevitable. Mr. Kurti has been lost. Mr. Kurti has lost not only these months since we are without institutions, but has lost years. It has continuously established populism instead of responsible governance and instead of coordinating the allies, always chosen the situation. Calendar deadlines can occur by the end of the year, ”she says.

Citaku also accused the prime minister of endangering the country’s Euro -Atlantic future.

“Today the citizen of Kosovo should only ask ourselves one question: Do we want to be in NATO and in the European Union? If the answer is yes, as is seen in every measure of opinion in the Republic, then this destructive, dangerous approach to Mr. Albin Kurti,” she said.

On September 5, the Constitutional Court imposed a temporary measure that by September 30, it prohibits the deputies of the Assembly from taking action or proceeding to establish the new government following the complaint of the Serbian List, regarding the vote for the Serbian vice president in the Kosovo Assembly.

The Constitutional decision was criticized by Kurti, for the court members, described the political shadows of the opposition. Thereafter, the United States has indefinitely suspended the planned strategic dialogue with Kosovo, a process that the State Department conducts with different countries in order to advance two-because relations.
