“No help, but only the blockade had the LDK and the mayor of Pristina, Perparim Rama, during the four years of the capital’s rule,” said the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, during an election meeting with the capital’s residents, where he also introduced the eleven candidates of branch no. 3 of the party for the Municipal Assembly.
“We have very clear tonight from this gathering: the capital breathes blue. The capital is with the Democratic League of Kosovo, because every political battle begins here, every great victory begins here and every hope for the future of our country begins here … In the last four years with all the great obstacles, LDK and Rama, showed what honest governance means. We had no help from the central government, on the contrary, we had only blockades, we had no cooperation from the local opposition, on the contrary, we had sabotage, but none of these could stop the change started by us because the city is stronger than propaganda, because people’s trust is greater than the deceit and honest work,“Abdixhiku said.
While mentioning the projects that he said in the four years at the top of Pristina, the acting president presented other projects aimed at further improving the lives of citizens, such as the realization of the capital’s outer ring, the purchase of 120 new buses or the regulation of “Agim Ramadani” road.
