Kurti invites the Diaspora for registration in the June 7 elections

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has called on his compatriots in the diaspora to register to vote in the framework of the new election process. In a video message addressed to the diaspora, Kurti emphasized that the will of the citizens was clearly expressed in the last elections, describing it as the strongest in post-war Kosovo.

“The people of Kosovo, inside and outside the country, spoke clearly on December 28, more clearly than ever before”, he declared.

According to Kurti, after the elections, the country faced continuous blockades that prevented the formation of new institutions. He added that, despite the efforts of the Vetëvendosje Movement to find solutions and avoid new elections, no political agreement has been reached.

“We tried everything not to take the country to the elections, but in front of us we only had rejection. This shows that the opposition does not respect the election results”, he said.

The acting Prime Minister also announced that the registration period for voters from the diaspora has begun, which will last from May 6 to 17. He described this process as important and called on citizens living abroad to register as soon as possible.
