Kosovo failed to elect a new President within the constitutional deadline and therefore will go to new national elections.
In a reaction on the Facebook social network, former president Vjosa Osmani stated that yesterday evening was a difficult moment for Kosovo.
She emphasized that, regardless of the situation, the citizens of Kosovo have always shown the strength to rise even in more difficult periods.
“Last night was a difficult night for Kosovo. But this people has known how to get up even from much more difficult moments. The moment has come to give only love for our country. Enough with propaganda, hatred, division and instilling fear”said Osmani.
In her message, she called for unity and to replace divisions with solidarity and hope.
