Shareholders owning the bank’s shares as of May 5 of this year will be entitled to the dividend. The payment date was set for May 25. They will receive more than last year, when a dividend of 91.30 crowns was paid per share.
The shareholders also approved an amendment to the bank’s statutes, according to which the number of members of the supervisory board will increase from nine to 12. The general meeting elected members of the supervisory board Cécile Bartenieffová, Hervé Audren de Kerdrel, Bruno Delase and Pierre Villeroy de Galhau.
The majority shareholder of Komerční banka is the French bank Société Générale with a share of 60.4 percent. This financial institution has over 70,000 shareholders, most of them are people from the Czech Republic.
The shares of Komerční banka, which is one of the largest financial institutions in the Czech Republic, are traded on the Prague Stock Exchange.
