Kalemaj in “3D”: Kurti wants total domination, but will be forced to form a coalition with PDK

According to Kalemaj, Kosovo risks remaining in electoral instability and the only solution seems to be one “forced marriage” between two fierce political opponents.

The analyst expressed his disappointment about the polarized political climate in Pristina. He emphasized that he had hoped for a coordination between the opposition parties (PDK and LDK), but above all criticized the Prime Minister’s approach.

“I am disappointed by Kurti’s harsh and hostile approach towards the opposition, as this has made me understand that Albini is guided by the dominance of power,” declared Kalemaj.

Osman’s “gift” with the date of the elections

Kalemaj cast doubt on President Vjosa Osmani’s decision to set the date of the elections on December 28. According to him, this is not a coincidence, but a calculated move that favors the ruling party through the diaspora vote.

“Why did Osmani announce the elections at the time that coincides with the arrival of immigrants? It seems that she got something in return,” the analyst alluded, hinting at a behind-the-scenes deal between the Presidency and the Government.

Forced coalition VV-PDK

Analyzing the figures and results of the local elections in relation to the general ones, Kalemaj predicts that no party will be able to govern alone and stably.

“In the case of Kosovo, I see electoral instability again. PDK and Vetëvendosja will be forced to form a coalition,” he said.

This scenario, according to him, is also imposed by the difficult economic situation and diplomatic isolation. Kalemaj warned that Kosovo is paying a heavy bill for the current crisis: “Kosovo is losing millions of euros a day and it is also losing international prestige.”
