The Minister of Youth and Sports, Blerim Gashani, has announced that he has made an official visit to London, at the invitation of the ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
He informed that in this visit he was accompanied by the mayor of Pristina Përparim Rama, as well as the president of the Olympic Committee of Kosovo, Ismet Krasniqi.
“At the invitation of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, we made an official visit to London, together with the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, and the President of KOK, Ismet Krasniqi”, wrote Gashani.
He emphasized that during this visit the sports capacities were closely observed and meetings were held with representatives of British sports.
“We visited the Olympic infrastructure and met with representatives of British sports, exchanging experiences and concrete ideas for the development of sports in our country,” he said.
According to him, institutional cooperation and learning from best practices are essential for the future of sport in Kosovo.
“Institutional cooperation and learning from successful models remain essential issues on our way to the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games,” Gashani emphasized.
