The European Union has expressed regret that Serbia has not yet taken the necessary steps to bring to justice those responsible for the attacks in northern Kosovo in 2023, following the latest decision on the Banjska case.
A spokesperson for the European Commission made this statement commenting on Friday’s decision of the Basic Court in Pristina, by which three Serbs were found guilty of the attack in Banjska.
According to the court’s decision, Vladimir Toliq and Bllagoje Spasojevic were sentenced to life imprisonment, while Dushan Maksimovic was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
