A nineteen-year-old girl was murdered in Prague

At the end of August of this year, criminal investigators from the Prague homicide department began investigating the disappearance of a 19-year-old girl from Prague. Her disappearance was reported by a neighbor who had not seen her for more than a fortnight and heard a dog barking constantly from the family home.

Criminalists regarded her disappearance as suspicious, which was confirmed by, among other things, several suspicious transactions on the bank account. At the same time, they suspected that she had become a victim of a crime.

“We started criminal proceedings aimed at finding her. That is, a classic search, evaluation of her surroundings and search for witnesses. As part of the ordered house search, which was carried out at the beginning of September, we found a damaged body,” Jiří Hacker, an investigator from the murder party, told Novinka.

Only we and the perpetrator know that

Genetic analysis confirmed that she was a missing girl. Hacker did not want to specify how the missing woman died. “Only we and the perpetrator know this,” he answered. He did not even specify where in the house she was found. According to Novinek, they found her in the garage. The exact time of death will be determined with the help of experts.

Criminalists considered the main suspect to be a 22-year-old ex-boyfriend who had been murdered. In mid-September, he was detained by an emergency unit at an unspecified location. “The accused is being prosecuted for a particularly serious crime of murder and faces an exceptional punishment,” added the investigator. According to him, the man partially admitted that he had a hand in the death of his ex-girlfriend.

On Friday afternoon, the District Court for Prague decided on custody for the accused on the 10th.
