Magyar stated on Facebook that for the first time in Hungarian history, a blind person will be a minister. “The Ministry of Social Affairs and Family is also responsible for equal opportunities,” pointed out the next Hungarian Prime Minister.
Kátai-Németh was born in Győr, but grew up in Budapest. “He lost his sight at the age of 16, which was a turning point for him, but it also strengthened him. He became a black belt in aikido, obtained a law degree and works as a lawyer,” Magyar introduced his next Minister of Social Affairs and Family.
Among his priorities is the protection of children
Kátai-Németh considers the creation of a functioning child protection system and the investigation of pedophile scandals from the past twenty years to be her priorities. According to his own words, he will also strive to improve the situation of Hungarian families.
In addition to the candidate for the new Minister of Social Affairs and Family, Magyar also presented several other ministers of his next government. The cabinet will have sixteen members. 52-year-old Anita Orbánová will be the foreign minister. 53-year-old András Kármán will lead the resort’s finances. 64-year-old István Kapitány will become the Minister of Economy. 57-year-old Zsolt Hegedűs will be the head of the Ministry of Health, and 40-year-old Dávid Vitézy will be the Minister of Transport.
The former Chief of the General Staff, 52-year-old Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, will be nominated for the position of Minister of Defense, and 63-year-old László Gajdos for the position of Minister of the Environment. The agricultural resort will be led by 51-year-old Szabolcs Bóna.
46-year-old Ágnes Forsthofferová, the vice-president of the Tisza party, became a candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament.
