Although no official findings have yet confirmed any connection between the ten deaths and the disappearances, Fox News and the New York Post have repeatedly emphasized that the cases have something to do with UFO research or the concept of using “antigravity.”
The administration of US President Donald Trump has now finally broken the silence. The White House announced that it is working with the FBI and other federal agencies to comprehensively review the cases and determine whether there are hidden connections between them.
After White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavittová confirmed the involvement of the FBI on Friday, an eleventh scientist – Amy Eskridge – was added to the list of suspicious deaths and disappearances of participants in advanced scientific research. “We will leave no stone unturned,” promised an intensive investigation spokeswoman.
According to Fox News, scientists began disappearing and dying in mid-2024. Eskridge, a 34-year-old researcher from Huntsville, Alabama, died as early as 2022.
Eskridge co-founded the Institute for Exotic Sciences and worked on experimental propulsion concepts – including what she called “antigravity” research. Her death officially occurred after a self-inflicted gunshot wound. However, very few details were published, which caused a lot of speculation.
They are similar to those that have emerged following the mysterious disappearances and suspicious deaths of several researchers with ties to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory. “It looks like someone wants to harm the US nuclear or space programs,” CBS News speculated on Saturday.
The air force general disappeared
The authorities have not yet confirmed any connection between the cases. At Eskridge, they claim that they found no connection between her work and the circumstances of the death. This is reminiscent of other cases. Retired Air Force General William McCasland (68) has not been seen since February 26, ABC News recalled.
She added that during his service he held a number of “positions in the field of space research, acquisitions and operations within the Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the government agency responsible for the development, construction, launch and operation of US satellites that provide data for the needs of national security, including terrain monitoring and communications. These were also positions in the Pentagon, the Air Force Research Laboratory at the Kirtland base in New Mexico and Wright-Patterson in Ohio.”
It was McCasland’s position at the Wright-Patterson base that sparked speculation that his disappearance was related to classified military programs and UFOs. The general’s main connection to the base in New Mexico is that he is one of four former employees of this facility who have gone missing over the past year or so, CBS News reported.
According to The New York Post, American rocket scientist Monica Reza also disappeared without a trace. She went missing on June 22, 2025 during a hike that was supposed to take place in the San Gabriel Mountains and Sierra Pelona in Southern California. According to CBS News, she and McCasland are connected not only by the suspicious disappearance, but also by a close professional connection.
