Survey: Fic’s direction is under 17 percent

The website topky.sk drew attention to the March survey of the agency NMS Market Research Slovakia. According to him, the opposition movement Progressive Slovakia of Michal Šimečka would vote for 21.4 percent of Slovaks, the Direction for 16.7 percent, and the non-parliamentary movement Republic of MEP Milan Uhrík for 13.5 percent of voters.

The government party Voice of the Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaje Eštok (7.6%), the opposition party Svoboda a Solidarita led by Branislav Gröhling (7.6%), the Slovakia movement of Igor Matovič (7.1%) and the Democratic party of former defense minister Jaroslav Nadě would also enter the parliament.

On the other hand, the opposition Christian Democratic Movement (4.8%) or the ruling Slovak National Party (2.3%) would not get into the parliament.

If the election ended with this result, the current opposition would have 78 seats in the 150-member parliament and the current ruling party only 46 seats, with the Republic 72 seats.
