The government is sending army planes to the Czech Republic in the Middle East

“We are sending one Airbus to Sharm el-Sheikh, we will send another one,” said Prime Minister Babiš, adding that he would offer Slovakia any free flight capacity from Egypt. Another Airbus should go to Amman, Jordan. Two army planes will fly from the Czech Republic.

According to Babiš, four Smartwings planes are heading to Oman’s Muscat, which will repatriate clients. According to Babiš, the most people are in Dubai and, according to him, it is the safest destination. You must consider whether to stay there and wait, or try to get to Muscat.

The State Security Council held an extraordinary meeting on Monday from seven o’clock in the morning. The government called it because of the American-Israeli attacks on Iran.

“We will definitely strengthen the security in the streets and around the buildings,” the Prime Minister added to the security measures that should be introduced. The government has no information about immediate threats.

At the same time, Babiš does not expect the European Council to meet because of the worsening security situation.

The prime minister already said when he arrived at the meeting that 79 Czechs from Israel would move to Egypt. From there, they should fly to the Czech Republic on Tuesday. Another seventeen people are then ready in Amman, Jordan.

Different voices from the government coalition

“Within a few days, the situation will become clearer if the regime will fall or if it will transform,” added Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motoristé sebo) to the further development of the conflict.

The prime minister is not worried that the coalition does not sound united because of the positions of the SPD. “We will not look for a unified position, Mr. Okamura is speaking to his voters,” said Babiš to the statements of SPD leader Tomio Okamura, who condemned the attack on Iran, saying that it violates the UN Charter and threatens to destabilize the region, a wave of migration, and an increase in fuel prices.

“I do not support such a conflict,” Okamura stated, adding that he also rejects the actions of the Iranian regime. Both Macinka and Babiš, on the other hand, understand the decision of the US and Israel with regard to the Iranian nuclear program.
