The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Elisa Spiropali, has made an official visit to Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of national security and the close inter-institutional cooperation between the two states. From Prishtina, the Albanian chief diplomat reconfirmed Tirana’s steadfast support for the NATO mission, stressing that the stability of Kosovo is the key to peace in the entire Balkans.
The focus of the security agenda was the meeting with the Commander of the KFOR mission in Kosovo, Major General Özkan Ulutaş. During this stop, Minister Spiropali took the opportunity to closely meet the members of the Armed Forces of Albania, who serve there.
Through a message on social networks, she expressed her gratitude for the sacrifice and duty they perform in the field.
“I thanked our troops for the high professionalism shown. Albania remains committed to fully supporting the mission of KFOR in guaranteeing the security of Kosovo, which is essential for the security and stability of the region and beyond,” writes Spiropali on social networks.
