Human Rights and Freedoms (IHH) Humanitarian Relief Foundation distributed 444 cubic meters of firewood, 25 tons of fuel pellets, blankets and stoves to those in need in 6 countries in the Balkans with its winter aid efforts.
According to the statement made by IHH, the foundation continues its winter aid work in 21 countries and supported those in need in Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.
In the studies in Albania, 20 stoves and 20 cubic meters of wood were distributed to a school with 250 students, while 200 blankets were given to 100 families and stoves were given to 31 families.
In Kosovo, a total of 172 cubic meters of firewood, 2 cubic meters per family, was distributed to 86 families, and 168 blankets were distributed to 84 families.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 25 tons of fuel pellets were distributed to a student dormitory with a capacity of 54 students, a total of 20 cubic meters of wood were distributed to 10 families, and stoves were distributed to 7 families.
In North Macedonia, where firewood was distributed, 116 cubic meters of wood were distributed to 58 families, 50 cubic meters of wood were distributed to 25 families in Montenegro, and 66 cubic meters of wood were distributed to 22 families in the Sandzak region of Serbia.
