“Given that negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been presented to the top leadership of Iran and have been approved, I, as President of the United States, have canceled the planned strikes and bombings against Iran that were scheduled to take place this evening,” Trump said.
“The negotiations and the final points have been approved both in general terms and in minute detail by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and others,” added the US president, adding that he would soon announce the location and date of the signing. But the naval blockade will remain in force “until this transaction is completed”, he added.
“Iran has not approved any text of the initial memorandum of understanding with the United States,” Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency said in response to Trump’s statement, citing a source close to Iran’s negotiating team, according to the Times of Israel.

“The US military will attack Iran ‘very hard’ tonight. It will soon take over key points of the country’s oil infrastructure,” Trump said on Thursday afternoon.
