The names of two other candidates, Alaskan senator Lisa Murkowská and Danish deputy from Greenland Aaji Chemnitz, whose nomination was announced by Norwegian deputy Lars Haltbrekken, are apparently also confirmed.
“For several years, they worked tirelessly together to build trust and ensure the peaceful development of the Arctic region,” Haltbrekken explained the nomination.
