Vucic against the drones for Kosovo, criticizes Turkey for the military shipment for the KSF

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has criticized Turkey for the shipment of drones in Kosovo, describing the move as “unlawful” and dangerous to the interests of the Serbian people. He stressed that Serbia is demanding that Turkey respect international norms and not interfere with issues belonging to official Belgrade.

The day before, officials in Kosovo announced that they had accepted containers with “thousands of drones” kamikaze type Skydagger.

Kurti published the news of the drones, and Belgrade immediately reacted with concern.

“My job is to protect my citizens,” Vucic said, warning that it will not allow military products that violate the security of Serbs.

He added that he wants good relations with Turkey, but will not compromise Serbia’s interests. Vucic announced that he will seek to have conversations with Turkish President Erdogan on the matter. He said he had called on Turkey to stop Pristina’s arming.

Vucic accused Kosovo of investing a lot in weapons to transform the security force into the army. He condemned procurement of complex military equipment, especially those Turkey is submitting to Kosovo.

Vucic called on the United Nations to intervene and implement international resolutions. While Kosovo is on the eve of the October 12 local elections, Vucic appealed to the Serbs to vote for the Serbian List, presenting it as a force representing Serbian interests without external influences.
