The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, met with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osman.
The meeting between President Osmani and Von der Leyen took place in the presidency.
After this meeting, the President of the European Commission Von der Leyen will meet with the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
Meanwhile, the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti will take place in the Assembly of Kosovo.
Von der Leyen started her visit to the Western Balkans with Tirana, where she held meetings with President Bajram Begaj and Prime Minister Edi Rama, while also participating in the EU-Albania Investment Forum.
Then Ursula von der Leyen traveled to Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, today in Kosovo, to close her tour the next day (October 16) with Skopje.
This is Von der Leyen’s first visit to the region during her second term, although she visited all six Western Balkan countries exactly one year ago, at the end of her first term.
