BRIEF: Reuters on Monday published unusual images taken from the International Space Station (ISS) in the early morning hours of December 27, 2025. According to experts who analyzed them, they appear to show Russian ballistic missiles flying at Kiev and explosions caused by Ukrainian air defenses. The ISS flew over the Ukrainian capital around 01:56–01:59 Kyiv time, when the images were taken. They show two clear lines crossing the shot from the northeast towards the city before disappearing amid the explosions. Rollo Collins, a senior investigator at the Center for Information Resilience, a non-profit open-source investigative organization, said the objects seen in the images “definitely are not aircraft” and correspond to ballistic missiles or possibly Kinžal missiles.
