Two paratroopers were injured on an aviation excursion in Hradec. Their landing was affected by the strong wind

The strong wind carried several paratroopers away from the landing site, and the situation at first looked more dangerous than it turned out later. The organizers of the event reported ten injured paratroopers to the called rescuers. Therefore, the rescue service sent seven crews and an air rescue helicopter to the scene.

“We treated two injured people on the spot. One parachutist was taken to a hospital in Hradec Králové with a slight injury to his upper limb, the other was treated on the spot and his condition did not require transportation to the hospital,” Lucie Hanušová, spokeswoman for the Hradec Králové rescue service, told Novinka.

Thousands of people arrived at the aviation pilgrimage at the Králové-Hradec airport on Saturday. Traffic collapsed on the spot. Columns formed on all main arrival routes. The situation started to improve after 1 pm. The event continues on Sunday.
