The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, stated that in the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the progress of bilateral relations was discussed and they emphasized the need for concrete and practical steps to further deepen the cooperation between the two countries.
“Both sides appreciated that the excellent level of political relations should be accompanied by even more tangible results in areas of direct interest to our citizens,” the statement said.
In this context, emphasis was placed on the advancement of projects of strategic and national importance, starting from: the Red and Black Railway, the development of energy corridors, transport corridors and the strengthening of cooperation in education, culture, science, security, defense and diplomacy
“We analyzed the progress of bilateral relations and focused especially on the need to take concrete and practical steps for the further deepening of cooperation between our two countries. We estimated that the excellent level of political relations should be accompanied by even more tangible results in areas of direct interest to our citizens.
In this context, we emphasized the need to advance projects of strategic and national importance, starting from the Red and Black Railway and the development of energy and transport corridors, to the further strengthening of cooperation in education, culture, science, security, defense and diplomacy“, writes Hoxha.
Also, Hoxha further writes that “I reaffirmed Albania’s full and comprehensive support for the Republic of #Kosovo in every aspect that contributes to the strengthening of democracy, the rule of law, institutions and its international subjectivity.”
“Albania will continue to stand by Kosovo, with commitment, solidarity and long-term vision, both in the bilateral plan and in the international arena, supporting its efforts for the further consolidation of the state in the direct interest of all its citizens, an important investment for strengthening stability, security and cooperation throughout the Western Balkans region”. emphasizes Hoxha.
