The theft suspect looked at the wallet with a quarter of a million crowns directly under the cameras in the subway

Richard Hrdina reported on the case from the beginning of January on Thursday. The suspect has not yet been found, so the investigators have now turned to the public for help in identifying him.

The money disappeared from a 35-year-old woman when she visited one of the businesses in Školská Street near Wenceslas Square in the center of the metropolis.

“She put her purse on a sofa in the establishment, shortly after that an unknown man entered the room, sat down next to the purse, and seemed to be waiting to be served. But after a short while, he got up, apologized for making a mistake, and left for an unknown place,” the spokesman described.
