While Kosovo awaits the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the request of the Serbian List for the constitution of the Assembly, the Vetevendosje Movement is convinced that it will create the “Kurti 3” government.
Hajrullah Ceku, the acting minister of Culture, at the same time a candidate for mayor of Pristina, in an interview with KosovaPress says the new government will be created within the deadline.
“We are waiting for the final decision on September 30. This is thus warned by the Constitutional Court. Constitution should be constituted or constitutional by the Constitutional Court, then we have our 15 days. I am very sure that the moment the Assembly is constituted, within that deadline we will have the ‘Kurt 3’ government,Said Minister Ceku.
Regarding the United States decision to suspend strategic dialogue with Kosovo, the acting minister of culture said Serbia is the only cause for which they have differences with international partners.
“Whenever we have had differences in thought, in accessing our international partners, this is related only to one topic, only with Serbia,Mr. Ceku said.
Following the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Ceku now intends to take over the leadership of the Municipality of Prishtina, where on October 12 he competes as a candidate for the Vetevendosje Movement. Convinced of victory, he said is the time for the PDK and the LDK, the two parties that have run the capital in recent years, to come to opposition.
“There is no magic wand. I do not promise miracles. I promise as much as we can, but if I have the help of the citizens, the solutions can be even better and more sustainable. In this sense I am very motivated by the response I am receiving from the citizens and I am very sure of our victory,”Self -determination candidate for Pristina stated.
On October 12, Mr. Ceku will face the current mayor of Pristina, LDK candidate Perparim Rama, Uran Ismaili from PDK, Beka Berisha from AAK and Besa Shahin, who represents the Social Democratic Party.
