This Thursday, May 7, is the deadline for political parties in Kosovo to notify the Central Election Commission regarding their participation or non-participation in the early parliamentary elections on June 7, as well as the declaration of pre-election coalitions.
The spokesperson of the CEC, Valmir Elezi, announced that until Wednesday at 12:00, a total of 18 political parties have applied for participation in the elections, while four others have announced that they will not participate in the election process.
So far, only one pre-election coalition has been registered, the VAKAT Coalition, consisting of two Bosniak parties.
According to the CEC, the deadline for the application of new political subjects remains open until May 10, while the submission of lists of candidates for deputies will continue until May 12, 2026.
