As Jakub Kozák, the spokesman for the Moravian-Silesian fire department, said, a unit of professional firefighters from nearby Kopřivnica intervened on the scene.
“After arriving at the scene, the firemen discovered that the animal was located approximately 100 meters from the shore and could not stand up on the smooth ice. So they inflated the rescue sled and, properly equipped, set out for the doe. They tied her back legs, loaded her into a sled and dragged her to the shore,” said the spokesperson.
