In office, Albin Kurti, along with the Mayor of Podujeva, Shimtim Buliqi, placed the cornerstone for the construction of central cuisine, in a project that will serve over 10,000 children, from the nursery to the ninth grade.
Kurti said the construction of central cuisine is very useful, as according to him, learning depends heavily on the well -being of the students.
“The value of this project is 700 thousand euros, with an area of 1,150 square meters, with the restaurant, the space for workers, the administration space. This is good news for the well -being of children and the care of the municipality and the government for the rights and needs of children. We all know that learning depends heavily on the well -being of students”Kurti said.
Whereas the Mayor of Podujeva, Shimtim Buliqi, said that the construction of central cuisine would create the prerequisites for the whole day teaching in Podujevo.
“What I can tell you at the moment is that we have found Podujeva with a public nursery and we are closing our mandate with nine such kindergartens. This means an increase in infrastructure capacities and an increase in the number of students at the prefix level of nursery. It is a special moment that we are making this kitchen, as these children will have the opportunity to have warm food … We are making the first preparations to go to teaching all day long and soon the municipality of Podujeva will go to this wide project”He said.
After throwing the cornerstone of the central kitchen in Podujevo, Kurti and Buliqi inaugurated a nursery in the village of Kërpimeh and Orllan.
