According to the announcement of the Presidency, at 15:00, Albulena Haxhiu will host the representatives of the political parties in a consultative meeting to discuss the date of the elections.

Tomorrow’s consultations come after the Assembly of Kosovo failed to elect a new president after the end of Vjosa Osman’s mandate on April 4, 2026, leaving Albulena Haxhiu (President of the Assembly) as acting president.

According to the Constitution, after the failure of the presidential election, the country moves towards early elections. The most likely date cited by analysts is late May or early June 2026.

This meeting is expected to be decisive in determining the official date of the next parliamentary elections.
