The charge d’affaires of the United States Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, held a meeting with the commander of the KFOR mission, Major General Ozkan Ulutash, on the eve of the end of his mandate at the head of the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo.
Through an announcement, the American Embassy in Pristina announced that the meeting took place on Monday, where the focus was on the role of KFOR in guaranteeing security and stability in the country.
Prattipati praised the work of the Turkish major general during the mission, thanking him for his commitment to maintaining a peaceful and safe environment for all communities in Kosovo.
“Charge d’Affaires Anu Prattipati met with KFOR Commander Major General Ozkan Ulutash as he prepares to end his term next month“, it is stated in the announcement of the US Embassy.
At the same time, Washington reconfirmed its support for the NATO mission in Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of KFOR for maintaining peace and security in the country and in the Western Balkans region.
