Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, during her visit to New York, met with senior US State Department official, with whom she talked about the vital importance of the Alliance with the US, regional stability and Kosovo’s path to Euro -Atlantic integration.
“After a content telephone conversation developed the day before, I met in New York with Mr. Brendan Hanrahan, senior official of the US State Department. I reiterated the vital importance of the Alliance with the US, which is the foundation of national security, regional stability and our way to Euro-Atlantic integration“, Osman wrote on social media.
The President added that it remains committed to protecting and strengthening this friendship built on mutual trust and cooperation.
During his visit to New York, Osmani also met with Assistant Secretary General of NATO, Ambassador Boris Ruge, as well as with the US diaspora.
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani’s visit to New York comes after the suspension of the United States strategic dialogue with Kosovo, announced two weeks ago by the US Embassy.
Osman’s visit aims to address this situation and renew Kosovo’s commitment to cooperation with the US and international allies.
