Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, as part of his participation in the Summit of the European Political Committee, held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden.
During the meeting, Kurti expressed his gratitude for Luxembourg’s continuous support to Kosovo, highlighting the valuable contribution in the health sector and other key areas of development.
He especially thanked for the recent support of 50 million euros, which proves Luxembourg’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacities and the well-being of Kosovo’s citizens.
“The conversation also focused on current political developments and strategic priorities of Kosovo in relation to European integration. Acting Prime Minister Kurti emphasized the importance of further advancement in this process, including Kosovo’s request for the status of a candidate country for membership in the European Union and progress towards membership in the Council of Europe“, it is stated in the announcement of the office of the Prime Minister.
In conclusion, Acting Prime Minister Kurti thanked his counterpart for Luxembourg’s continuous support to Kosovo in the international arena, reaffirming readiness for deepening bilateral cooperation and coordination in multilateral forums of common interest.
