According to Politico, Kuleb’s departure is very similar to the end of the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. Both were ready to ask questions and question Ukrainian actions or decisions. Politico did not say what exactly Jermak disliked about Kuleb. For example, Zaluzhnyi got into trouble with President Volodymyr Zelensky because of the need for further mobilization.
Kuleba ended his tenure on Wednesday, September 4. A day earlier, the Ukrainian ministers of justice, strategic industry or reintegration of occupied territories also finished. Kuleb’s place was taken by Andrij Sybiha, Kuleb’s former first deputy. Zelenskyj explained the numerous personnel changes by saying that Ukraine needs “new energy”.
Both the former foreign minister and the former commander of the armed forces were highly respected by the West. After the end of Kuleba, not only on the X social network, a number of Western representatives expressed their admiration and thanked him for his service.
Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský was one of them. “Thank you for all the efforts you have devoted to the fight against Russian imperialism. It was an honor to work together to support a rules-based world order,” he said on the X network.
Dear @DmytroKuleba. Thank you for all the efforts you devoted to the fight against Russian imperialism. It was an honor to work together to support a rules-based world order. Ukraine can count on the Czech Republic to always be its ally. Good luck for the future. pic.twitter.com/7a2SGwLS43

In addition to Lipavský, former Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallasová also did so.
“You had one of the hardest jobs in the world. Thank you for your extremely professional and personal commitment. Your fight for freedom inspired and will continue to inspire many people all over the world,” said Kallasová.
