In addition to ice, there will also be a threat of strong wind on New Year’s Day, meteorologists warned

Frost and ice can form in Pardubice, South Moravia, Zlín and parts of other regions, with the exception of Prague, Karlovy Vary and Pilsen regions. The warning will be valid from Tuesday 6 pm to Wednesday 9 am.

At midnight on New Year’s Eve, a strong wind warning will go into effect. First in parts of the Liberec, Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian regions. From Wednesday evening, the warning will be extended to Prague, Karlovy Vary, Plzeňský and parts of South Bohemia, Central Bohemia and Ústí Region.
