Shortly after graduating from DAMU, she got her first film role in the film Synové hor, where she portrayed Slávka Hančová. It was also the biggest opportunity that the silver screen offered her. Later it was episodic roles of wives and mothers. She played the main character’s mother in the film Láska z pázaje and mother-in-law in the film Return to the Grave. It is about a woman whom the main character’s classmate introduces with the words: “You have some prickly sunflower here.”
