Since leaving the White House almost a quarter of a century ago, the former president has suffered serious health problems, CNN reminds. In 2004, he underwent a quadruple bypass in New York, and the following year his lungs partially collapsed. He underwent another heart procedure in 2010, when two stents were inserted into his heart artery.
In 2021, he was hospitalized for six days in Los Angeles due to a urological infection that spread to his bloodstream.
Democrat Clinton was president for two terms from 1993 to 2001. In this year’s pre-election presidential campaign, he actively supported the failed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
