Israel killed Hanija, the defense minister admitted for the first time

The leader of the political wing of Hamas, Ismáíl Hanija, was killed by an explosion on July 31 in Tehran, where he attended the inauguration of the new Iranian president the day before. Both Hamas and Iran attributed the assassination to Israel, which, as is its custom, did not claim responsibility, but did not deny it either.

Today, Kac at the Ministry of Defense threatened Yemen’s Houthi rebels that Israel will target their strategic infrastructure and cut off “the heads of their leadership, just like we did with Hanija… in Tehran,” writes the AFP agency.
