Elections in Kosovo/ 80 postal ballot boxes are counted, LVV leads with over 69 percent

The Vetëvendosje movement is scoring a deep advantage in the process of counting the votes received by mail, according to the preliminary results published by the Central Election Commission in Kosovo.

The data so far show that, after the counting of 80 ballot boxes, Vetëvendosje secured 20,693 votes, or 69.67 percent of the total number of votes counted.

The second political force is the Democratic League of Kosovo with 4,506 votes, representing 15.17 percent, while the Democratic Party of Kosovo ranks third with 2,369 votes, or 7.98 percent.

Meanwhile, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo received 1,585 votes, securing 5.34 percent of the votes counted so far.

The process of counting postal votes is continuing and is expected to bring a more complete picture of the election result. The final results will be made public by the Central Election Commission after the completion of the verifications and the counting of all votes.
