The opening ceremony took place at the Eastern Europe-Balkans Dıgıage Game Development Camp of the Bilişim Valley Digital Animation and Game Clustering Center (DIGAGE).
The ceremony was held at the International Balkan University (IBU) campus in Skopje, the capital of Northern Macedonia. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, General Manager of IT Valley Erkam Tüzgen and DIGGAGE Director Emre Yıldız attended.
Sunar said that the strategic foci in the event, which is hosted by the university, is renovation, teamwork and digital transformation.
Sunar, “We have established the infrastructure of the digital age. Our university has grown in the field of technology and design. IBU currently offers 6 programs in the field of computer engineering. With new sections such as software engineering and network security, this number is planned to be increased to 10 by the end of the year.” he said.
Pointing out the sociological importance of cooperation and competition in corporate life, Sunar emphasized that this project offers a real opportunity for information transfer.
Tüzgen also mentioned that they seriously support the game sector as the IT Valley. evaluated.
DIGGAGE Director Yildiz said that their aims are to bring together those who want to enter or want to enter the game ecosystem, those who seek investment seekers or those who want to publish their game.
This year’s camp, which was organized in cooperation with Singidunum University from Serbia, Ibu, Ibu, has 65 participants from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Serbia and Northern Macedonia.
At the event that will end tomorrow, the participants work intensively to develop two innovative game prototypes accompanied by participants, expert meters and sector professionals.
The camp, which is also held within the scope of “Erasmus+ 2023-3-KA210-OYOU-000184390 Project”, provides participants the opportunity to experience game development processes in the international environment and take a solid step in their careers.
