Ministry of Culture and Tourism Edirne State Turkish Music and Rumelian Music Ensemble will organize a concert “Black Sea and Rumelia Folk Songs from the Black Sea to the Balkans” together with the Samsun State Classical Turkish Music Choir.
The concert, whose artistic director will be Özge Altıntaş, will be held on Thursday, October 16, at 20.00 at the Edirne State Turkish Music and Rumelian Music Community Concert Hall.

The concert, in which selected folk songs from the Black Sea region and the Balkans will be performed, is the first leg of the joint project of the two communities.
Gökçe Bahar Ercan, Director of Edirne State Turkish Music and Rumelia Music Ensemble, stated in her statement to the AA correspondent that the two ensembles will come together with a beautiful project.
Stating that the first leg of the project will be held in Edirne and the next concert in Samsun, Ercan said, “The first part of this concert, which we organized with the Samsun State Classical Turkish Music Choir, will be held in Edirne. In May, we will hold our second concert in Samsun with the theme ‘From the Balkans to the Black Sea’.” he said.
Ercan added that the concert in Edirne will be held under the management of Samsun State Classical Turkish Music Choir Chief Özge Altıntaş, and the concert in Samsun will be held under the management of Edirne State Turkish Music Ensemble Art Director Yıldıray Öztürk.
