Firefighters learned about the fire around 3:30 p.m. A fire in the garage of the family house was reported to them.
Six units of professional and volunteer firefighters went to the scene.
“At the time of their arrival, part of the roof of the family house was already on fire, but all persons were out of danger,” informed the spokesman of the fire department, Pavel Řezníček.
“The units were able to locate the fire quickly and at the same time protect the surrounding buildings in close proximity. The territorial control officer from Uherské Hradiště was also sent to the scene,” stated Řezníček.
After localizing the fire, the firefighters dismantled the affected structures and extinguished hidden sources of fire. The liquidation of the fire was announced at 18:57. A local unit of volunteer firefighters remained on the scene to watch.
“The exact cause of the fire and the amount of damage are now the subject of an investigation,” added the fire department spokesman.
