“I can confirm that on Tuesday we carried out criminal proceedings in the area of drug crime in a locality in the Central Bohemian Region. Police officers from the intervention unit of the Regional Directorate of the Police of the South Bohemian Region participated in the implementation,” said Vysočina police spokeswoman Dana Čírtková.
She did not want to provide more information with regard to the ongoing investigation and other urgent actions. Šestajovice is located just beyond the border of Prague in the Central Bohemia region.
According to Novinek, the rescue service sent an air rescue helicopter from Prague and the nearest ground crew to the scene.
“The patient suffered an injury in the abdomen, he was conscious the whole time. After treatment, the paramedics transported him by land to the Vinohrady hospital in Prague,” described Monika Nováková, spokeswoman for Central Bohemian rescuers.
It is not clear what exactly happened on the spot. According to Novinek, the Deputy Chief of Police for the Criminal Police and Investigation Service, Tomáš Kubík, also arrived at the scene.
