The US and the EU synchronize actions for the next phase of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue

The envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, held a meeting at the American State Department, where the focus was on the progress of the process and the coordination of actions for the next phase.

In an announcement on the X platform, he announced that he has met with the Bureau’s top official at the State Department, Brendan Hanrahan.

“Excellent meeting with the Bureau’s senior official Brendan Hanrahan at the State Department. We discussed dialogue, reviewed recent achievements and ensured alignment on steps forward,” he said. says Peter Sorensen.

According to him, during the meeting, the progress so far was evaluated and the importance of further synchronization between the European Union and the United States of America was emphasized to advance the dialogue.

This development comes at a moment when the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia remains at the center of international attention, while transatlantic cooperation is considered essential for the advancement of the process.

The meeting also follows the recent decisions of the Government of Kosovo, led by Albin Kurti, for facilities in the implementation of the Law on foreigners, which came into force on March 15.
