Defense Express reported that this is the first time that “the Russians have used a new type of attack drone that poses a significant threat to attack Kiev.” However, according to Fleš, the Russians did not attack with a lancet, instead they dropped its debris on the capital with another drone “as part of a special information operation of the enemy”.
According to the server, the presence of the drone is proven by the debris found. “Especially the rather characteristically shaped tail wing. (…) There is also a photo of the wing, which has a number with the index of the Russian Federation,” writes Defense Express.
It follows from the wreckage that the Russians used artificial intelligence in the lancet. “They set it up for swarm use, autonomous navigation, target search and attack without connection to the operator,” says the server.
Lancet, the Russian kamikaze drone, will not fly to Kyiv, as Fleš pointed out. According to the server, the longest distance the lancet has ever flown is 136 kilometers. However, 50 kilometers are usually stated, and according to the Russians, up to 90 kilometers. The border with Russia is approximately 200 kilometers from Kyiv.
“No type of Lancet drones can fly to Kyiv,” Fleš said, according to which it was “debris or debris intentionally dropped from the Shahid-type drones.”
This drone, which is equipped with optical-electronic guidance, is dangerous, among other things, because it can wait for its target in the air. Artificial intelligence could thus increase its effectiveness even more.
